31 Jan Helping You Power Through The Winter With CAA
When was the last time you checked your car battery?
Late last year, we worked with CAA on an idea. An engaging way to get the word out with regards to checking your car’s battery.
See car batteries in the winter time are a lot like smartphone batteries when exposed to cold temperatures they are prone to die a lot quicker.
When it comes to CAA they get a wide range of calls, I know they have personally received calls from me regarding a lot of different situations. Flat tires, tow trucks, parts not working, and batteries dying as well.
One of the things you can do to prevent your car battery from dying is to routinely get it checked. If you are going in for an oil change, changing over tires or getting a part replaced, be sure to check your car battery, especially in the winter.
It’s a win/win situation for both you and the CAA. If you get your car’s battery checked, then you don’t have to worry about it and CAA Southern Ontario isn’t bogged down with those calls compared to dealing with more serious matters.
Below is the CAA South Central Ontario campaign we made to raise awareness about car’s battery health in the winter time.

The Bottom Line
Don’t get stranded like me. Make sure your car battery is checked. If it’s below freezing out your car could experience shorter battery life, which could get you stranded, like me, in different situations you don’t want to be in. For more information about your car battery, be sure to visit your local auto shop to check on your car battery.
